Library Director

Sue Ponder has been the Director of the Prairie City Public Library since July of 2005.  A resident of Prairie City since 1990, Sue loves Prairie City and likes to be involved in the community.  She and her husband, Paul, have two children, Meredith, who lives in Des Moines, and Jacob, who attends Iowa State and lives in Ames.

Assistant Director

Jenny Anderson has been with the library since 2013. She has resided in Prairie City since 1997. She likes to spend time with family, read, cook, play music with friends, hike and camp with her husband Eric.
